Hey how do find the tips here?

Did u find the Decor tips good enough? Let me add in a few more to it to help you add more room to your room :-

Create multi-functional furniture. After choosing the furniture, think how multi-functional these pieces can be. You can Use an antique trunk as a coffee table. It is a great bonus spot to store infrequently accessed items such as seasonal clothing, or extra linens for guests. Opt for a platform bed with drawers in the base. Buy a desk with shallow shelves above. This maximizes the area above the desk, which would otherwise be wasted.

While choosing drapery select the ones that are nearly the same height as the room. Hang it near the ceiling regardless of the height of the window but Keep the curtain from touching the floor so that the fabric doesn’t break, as this can look heavy in a small space. Choose fabrics that allow views to the outdoors.

Here are some tips for making your small apartment seem larger than it is.

1. Choose your paint color wisely.
When choosing the color palette for a small room, choose a light color for the walls, and instead, jazz up the room with accessories in bold colors. Let the walls ‘fade-away’, and your eye travel to the objects that contain your favorite colors.

2. Paint horizontal stripes that are similar in color. If the room lacks area, paint it with large horizontal stripes that are similar in color.
If your space has low ceilings, paint vertical stripes. This gives the illusion of a taller space.

Play with different thicknesses and different spacing between the stripes throughout the room for a fun and spontaneous look.

3. Choose the right furniture. This is important. Measure your space before buying anything, and use masking tape to block out areas of an empty room that you would feel comfortable filling. Use the space for a couple of days and decide if the size of the boxed-out areas feels okay.
Bring a tape measure to the furniture store. Ask the salesperson if the furniture on the showroom floor comes in different sizes or is customizable. Also, be open to choosing something that is different than the original idea you had in your mind.

Will be back with more. Meanwhile if you have any please do share it with us.

Hey here are a few more things to keep in mind while creating a brand new kitchen...

Hey here are a few more things to keep in mind while creating a brand new kitchen...

1. Functionality
Space planning is one of the most important elements to a successful kitchen.
Vital elements include traffic flow, work stations, and safety considerations. The most important area is the triangle between the three primary work centers – cooking, prep/cleanup and refrigeration. A well-placed island is one that is centrally located for ease of use and traffic flow. It may include bar seating, storage and possibly a secondary sink or cooktop.

2. Budgeting
Drafting a budget will give your kitchen renovation project scope. It will also help you and your designer / retail store if you can prioritize where you want to allocate your funds – cabinets, appliances, tile, flooring, countertops. Appliances should be selected based on the budget and size of kitchen.

3. Longevity
Choose styles that reflect your personality and lifestyle, not what you think is "hot" or trendy. Making classic choices that match your personal style will ensure the longevity of your kitchen, and your ultimate satisfaction.

Few more useful tips on redoing your home - Beautifying the Bathroom

Hrjohnson Tarnquil bathroom
A bathroom is an area that deserves more comfort than looks -
at least, the one that you use. Many bathrooms have a designer look and feel that give it a sophisticated touch. If you think you’re not up to that task, change the basics: a new shower curtain, new towels, new shiny accessories, and objects might do the trick.
Buy some fancy soap with a design you find nice, and use some bathroom fragrance to add aroma: the nose can also rejoice in new environments. As for new shiny accessories you can opt for a complete overhaul of the Sanitary ware the Taps and Shower Panels. Check out the exciting new range of Taps & Sanitaryware from the house of H&R Johnson..
