Manufacturing Process
The process adopted to manufacture Marbonite tiles makes them extra strong and durable. The near zero water absorption is attained by compaction from a high temperature which reduces the thermal and moisture expansion. This helps in joint free applications. To manufacture Marbonite tiles, pure white raw materials are used without any contamination. Any impurities present in the mass can affect the quality of the product. These Marbonite tiles are subjected to high firing temperatures which results in an overall reaction among all the raw materials. As there is complete reaction, the tiles become vitrified completely.
